Alumni Award of Merit

As part of Penn's 2011 Homecoming celebration, the 77th Annual Alumni Award Merit has honored alumni achievement and dedication to the University for more than 70 years. Selected by the Awards and Resolutions Committee of the Penn Alumni Board of Directors, Lee Spelman Doty, W’76, president of the Penn Alumni Board presented these honors on Friday, November 4, 2011. The 2011 Alumni Award of Merit honorees include Edward T. Anderson, MD, C’65, M’69, Susanna E. Lachs, Esq., CW’74, ASC’76, Mae Agnes Pasquariello, CW’53, GRD’85, P. Roy Vagelos, MD, C’50 and Paul C. Williams, W’67. The Young Alumni Award was presented to Calvin Kai Chen, C’97, W’97.

President Amy Gutmann and Board of Trustees Chair, David Cohen, L’81, paid tribute to honorees and their outstanding achievements at the Zellerbach Theatre on campus.
