Celebration of the Life of Sheldon Hackney

The University Community gathered at Irvine Auditorium for a program celebrating the life of President Emeritus Sheldon Hackney (1933-2013).  Speakers included Penn President Amy Gutmann, former Penn Provost Thomas Ehrlich, Harvard President Drew Faust, Rev. Timothy Safford of Christ Church, chair of Africana Studies Barbara Savage and the Hackneys' son, Fain Hackney.
