Cellicon Valley 2021 Virtual Symposium

President Amy Gutmann helped welcome, with Dr. Carl June, more than 1,500 participants to the 2021 two-day virtual Cellicon Valley conference, with its theme of “The Future of Cell and Gene Therapies.” President Gutmann also introduced keynote speaker Dr. Stanley Riddell of the renowned Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

“One day soon, could we witness the end of humanity’s greatest scourges?” President Gutmann told those tuning in. “For me, it’s not pollyannish to think so, and that’s thanks to all of you.”

The symposium was presented by Penn’s Abramson Cancer Center and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. View a photo gallery of the event.
