President Amy Gutmann participated in the First Woman Voter campaign on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the 19thAmendment.  The First Woman Voter campaign is supported by the National League of Women Voters, National Women's History Museum and When We All Vote to celebrate the ratification of the 19th Amendment in 1920.  Marking the centennial of women’s suffrage, the campaign encourages women across America to join in a celebration of their family’s First Woman Voter or a woman who most influenced them to vote in a unique and personal short video.  Launching with tributes from all four former First Ladies, women leaders in academia, business, the arts, entertainment, government and other fields are participating in the First Woman Voter virtual campaign. The bipartisan, pro bono initiative was created in response to the many cancelled centennial celebrations due to COVID-19 to give women in diverse communities across the United States a way to engage in this milestone anniversary.
