Men's Lacrosse NCAA Tournament Game

Amy Gutmann, Penn President, joined Penn Athletics Director Grace Calhoun, hundreds of students, alumni, parents and friends in Franklin Field on Saturday to cheer on the Penn Men’s Lacrosse team in the first round of the 2019 NCAA Division 1 Men’s Lacrosse Championship. Penn defeated Army West Point, 13-8. With the win, the Quakers advanced to the quarterfinals where they will play Yale on Sunday, May 19th in East Hartford, CT. Saturday’s win is the first in the NCAA Championship for Head Coach Mike Murphy, who became the program’s all-time winningest coach with 75 victories.
