OWN IT Summit 2018

Amy Gutmann, Penn President, spoke at the OWN IT Summit, a one-day conference held on Penn’s campus.  OWN IT was started in 2013 by two Georgetown undergrads with the very specific purpose of bridging the gap between female leaders and the millennials who look up to them. Last spring, Penn hosted its first OWN IT UPenn Summit, boasting over 50 speakers from a variety of fields and over 200 attendees. The Summit provides an opportunity for young women to discuss how to be a leader as a woman by hearing from, and having face time with, women of all ages who have already made great accomplishments in their fields.
