Penn Electric Racing Visit

Penn President Amy Gutmann visited with the Penn Electric Racing Team on April 26 (in the Towne Building) to view their award-winning REV3 car. Dr. Gutmann also got a preview of the REV4 which is still in development and will be debuted soon. SEAS Dean Vijay Kumar, SEAS Professor Robert Carpick and SEAS Professor Andrew Jackson, who advises the Penn Electric Racing Team students, joined President Gutmann for the visit.
Penn Electric Racing is the University of Pennsylvania's Formula SAE Electric Team. Each year, they build award-winning electric racecars on a mission to prove that electric vehicles are the future of transportation.
