Rear Admiral Michael Bernacchi Visit

Penn President Amy Gutmann greeted Rear Admiral Michael D. Bernacchi, Commander, Naval Service Training Command and Colonel Matthew C. Culbertson, Commanding Officer, Philadelphia Consortium Naval ROTC in her office.  The dedicated Naval ROTC Unit at Penn began in 1940 and is proudly part of the Philadelphia Consortium.  The University of Pennsylvania and the United States Navy and Marine Corps share a long and distinguished history that dates back to the revolutionary war.
