President Gutmann moderated the 2019 Silfen University Forum entitled, “Is There an Antidote for the Opioid Epidemic? Seeking a Cure for the Worst Drug Crisis in American History.”  A distinguished panel of expert guests included,  Vice President Joe Biden, Governor Jeb Bush, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney, Dr. Jeanmarie Perrone from the Perelman School of Medicine and Professor Bertha Madras from Harvard Medical School.
