Stand-Up and Vote

Penn President Amy Gutmann co-hosted Stand Up and Vote for Penn students featuring stand-up comedians and performance artist and Penn alumnus John Legend in Irvine Auditorium. The free event raised awareness about the importance of voter registration and getting out the vote for students.  Penn Leads the Vote volunteers were on hand to register hundreds of new voters throughout the evening.  As an undergraduate at Penn, John Legend was a member of the Penn Counterparts, and they performed at the beginning of the program.
