The Spirit of Compromise in D.C.

Third Way and the University of Pennsylvania celebrated Dr. Amy Gutmann’s new book, The Spirit of Compromise: Why Governing Demands It and Campaigning Undermines It with a reception on Wednesday, June 6th at 6:30pm.

After the reception, Dr. Gutmann took part in a discussion with PBS NewsHour’s Judy Woodruff, who hailed the book as a “‘no excuses’ look at Washington gridlock.”
