World Economic Forum, Davos 2015

Penn in Davos: Penn faculty and leadership participated in a number of activities at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2015, including a Penn-Columbia reception on January 23 co-hosted by President Amy Gutmann, Wharton Dean Geoffrey Garrett, and Columbia University President Lee Bollinger. The reception was attended by close to 200 friends, alumni, and parents of the two universities. In addition to Gutmann and Garrett's attendance and participation in the Forum panels and activities, Penn faculty members Ezekiel Emanuel, Adam Grant, Mauro Guillen, and Carl June participated in WEF activities January 21-24. President Amy Gutmann participated in meetings with the Global University Leaders Forum, and a private discussion with University Presidents and members of Congress on innovation and research, as well as a number of private meetings and dinners with alumni and friends attending the Forum.
